my lab puppy got parvo after receiving 2 sets of vaccinations. Luckily, he survived but he had to be hospitalized for 5 days on iv's.

Clorox will help kill parvo out.

Good luck w/ur puppy.

Years ago I had an American Eskimo that had all of his shots. He contracted parvo and was in the hospital for a week. Make sure that when it's time for vaccinations, you go to a licensed veterinarian and they use high quality stuff. We didn't know any better back then...we gave our own shots that we had gotten from the local feed store. Try to bleach everything in the house and outside to try to kill any remaining virus.

Parvo is in the ground... you have to get rid of the disease in the ground. I wish I could give you more information but I moved.

Yes, it is possible. Esp if you have a highly susceptible breed like a Rottweiler or a Pitt. Nothing is 100% guaranteed.
