Sort of, though possibly not in the way you mean. I own 37 pure bred Chihuahuas. They need more exercise than I can give them individually. So every morning I harness all of them together, slip my bare feet under the harness straps and ride them about seven blocks and back. I weigh about 150 pounds, so this distributes to less than five pounds per Chihuahua. We generally start out with them running enthusiastically, but by the time we get back they are ready to lay down for the rest of the day.
WARNING: This does not work with other breeds of dogs. Recently a friend of mine built a similar harness for his dogs (four huskies), put on an aviator hat with goggles, mounted them and shouted "Mush!!" Three days later he was spotted in Northern Ontario, being dragged with his head bouncing off the ground behind them. Thank God he was wearing that aviator hat! Witnesses reported that he appeared to be fine though he was cursing and screaming "Stop!" .I hope to hear from him soon.

Sweety, yes they do, a really big dog to a small child looks like a small pony to them, and even though I don't think the dogs like it too much, I have seen many that think it is cute, I would not do this to a dog I did not trust, especially with a child, but on occasion, it has been done.

Some times I give my dog a piggy back ride, but I would never ride him, that is crule and mean and I love my dogs too much.

NO that is just cruel and you shouldn't ride your dog even if your under 10 years old

no it is bad for the dogs back and can potentially paralyze them.
