Other than giving your dog a flea bath, Try using salt in your carpet, and leave it there for about a week then vacuum it up. You see if fleas eat the salt they die, that should also take care of the eggs. And while giving your dog a bath, they have special little combs, that you can pick the fleas off with. Because when you bathe them in flea medicated soap, they stop biting and you can see them if you brush the dogs hair against the grain and you can pick them out, most of them will die or fall of during the bath, but for those who don't just pick them off and dispose of them in warm, soapy water. And make sure to leave the soap on for a few minutes before rinsing or even picking them off. Wash all of the linens and things you can throw in the wash in warm soapy water also. And just for some extra measures spray "Raid" Flea carpet and room spray anywhere the dog might rest or visits frequently. I did all that one time at the beginning of the summer when my 2 cats had fleas real bad and I have not had any since! Good luck! :)

If you have an animal with fleas, give it a flea bath. Make sure you use the proper product. If you have fleas in your house or yard, you should call an exterminator. That's the best way I found to have it done properly. Otherwise, you will spend a lot of time and money on products that don't work.

Frontline Plus is fast acting and once the fleas are gone they repel fleas and ticks and also has a tendency to keep fleas out of their bedding. I have a Newfoundland, a St. Bernard and a Lab all house dogs and have never seen a flea on any of them.

You need to find the source of the fleas first. Just because you flea dip your pet doesn't mean you've gotten rid of them, especially if they have brought them indoors. I would check to see if you have an infestation in the house, if not, then have your yard sprayed THEN get the dop dipped. If their in the house, you need to have your home treated while the dog is getting dipped.

Treat your animals, and vacuum like a crazy person! Remember to throw out the vacuum bag, the little buggers with breed and hatch in there!
