My dog hates her name (Muttly) and won't come when I call her. She turns her head the other way and sometimes trots off. How do I fix this? Any suggestions for another name? It has to start with M as all her things are monogrammed. Thanks.

My friend is out in the woods and just gave me a call about her dog getting stung. There isn't a vet anywhere. I did some quick research and read she should remove the sting and use bicarbonate of soda. Any other suggestions?

We have 2 indoor cats so the fleas must be coming in from outside on us or our clothing, there are not a ton of fleas (we can't see them jumping on the cats or furniture) I have tried flea collars, flea baths, bombs, sprays for the house etc... nothing seems to completely get rid of them.

How can I help him sleep? He is 12 months old, so is still a baby really, and he can only sleep about 4 hours a night. He doesn't sleep much of a day either. He gets bored while I am sleeping so he keeps me up by 'talking' to me and digging me out of the blankets. I've popped him in another room before but he scratches at the door and cries all night which keeps me up as well. Is something wrong with him, or is it the fact he is a working dog and just has a lot of energy? Any tips on getting him sleeping through the night? I would love to hear other people's experiences. Thank you.

He does not have papers, but he looks pure, except for the tail will he grow out of it or should i have something done. Because it bothers the heck out of me. There are so many different pits out there, but none of them should have the tail issue. the tail is also rather long. He is ten weeks should i have part of it cut so it can't curl. not dock the whole thing ,but something. Is there something I can do?

i have a mother cat and her 5 kittens. they were in her cat bed but as this had kitty poop on it i had to clean it my vet said that would be ok. she has her kitty bed back but now is trying to move the kittens to inside a couch in the garage i usually wouldnt mind but the kittens seem to be getting pussie eyes and seem to be snezzing alot. i have got stuff to fix eyes from vet but they keep getting it from being moved to this dirty couch. how do i stop her from doing this i have tried moving kittens back to where she had them in the beging but she just moves them back. oh and she doesnt care if i touch them so if people think thats the problem she places kittens on my lap her self.

My cat is full grown, at nearly a year old, but she's still as small as a kitten. She was the runt of the litter, but still, I think she should be bigger than she is. She looks like a 6 month old kitten. She has big ears, a little head, and a little body. Should I be worried about her, or is it normal for some cats to stay so tiny?
