i have this bear walking around my property for about a year now he rips up garbage and breaks into my house how can i get rid of it?

Fill balloons with ammonia. Place peanut butter or honey on the outside of the balloons. Hang the balloons around where the bear is coming. A bear's sense of smell is very sensitive. When they go for the peanut butter/honey, the balloon will pop releasing the ammonia...The bear won't like that!!! After one or two of these balloons, the bear will leave you alone.
You could also call the local game commission to relocate the bear.

Call the local Fish & Game or Natural Resources Dept. and they should come out and trap the bear. The other alternative is to purchase a Bear Tag, or know someone that has one, and let a hunter take the bear. Your choice.

Best way is to contact animal control, because depending on where you live, there may be laws and regulations on how you can get rid of it.
Where I live, you're not allowed to erradicate bears yourself, but it is handled by a bear relocation program.

Wow! That's pretty scary. I live in Southern Cali, so the only Bear's we see is Winnie the Pooh at Disneyland...I love Cali!

Call a hunter with a bear tag to fill. If you're squirmish, don't watch.
