...go poo? He usually goes about twice a day, but hasn't gone for 2 days, except for one small nugget. Is there anything I can before taking him to the vet?

I brought home a new kitten (11 weeks old) about 2 weeks ago. My 2 sons are attached already. My 10 yr old female cat has hissed and growled since we walked in the door with her. We tried the slow approach and kept the kitten in a separate room, short outings in the house without the other car, exchanged towels with each scent etc....for about 10 days. The older cat was somewhat curious but saw the kitten as more of a pest I think. Now my sweet older cat is acting strange, growling and licking her lips. She usually drinks out of the sink and she will not go near it. Freaks when I put her up there. About the same with food. I gave her favorite and she still refuses. Her eyes look clear but she seems a lot lazier than usual starting this afternoon. I will be calling the vet in the am. But until then, any suggestions?

My dog was quaranteened for 10 days and came home with tics. I treated him with Frontline and a tic bath and the tics seem to be gone. He's an inside dog and has been outside since yesterday. When is it safe to bring him back inside?

I have a carpet python that hides like all day and then comes out at night. The weird thing is, i leave my heat lamp on during the day but he doesnt use it. I leave an infrared heat lamp on at night, thats when he comes out to bask. That makes no sense at all cuz in the wild they dont have the chance to bask at night. My question is, is it normal for my carpet to hide during the day and then bask at night??

I went to the vet for numerous flea dips, I've tried over 15 flea shampoos (I've even went throught the trouble of buying special flea shampoo!) I've bombed the house 4 times. I've tried everything and nothing works!!! WHAT TO DO!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!

We have bagged spinich in our refridegerator for our pet lizard, question 1) can e coli hurt lizards? 2) Is that something that can spread just by being in our refridgerator? Should we get rid of it even if humans do not comsume it??

I just adopted a crocker spaniel who is 2 yrs. old from a co-worker, before I took her in I asked about her health and shots and such, which my co-worker told me everything was okay. When I first got her she was a little skittish which is to expected but after a while he got used to being with me and is now my shadow, but since I got her she has been throwing up her water and a little of her food partially digested before she does that she makes sounds like she has the huccups. I spoke to co-worker about this and who says that just eats to fast and that happens, just change her food. That didn't work. Co-worker didn't have the shot records so I went to her vet for a copy and they are almost 2 years old. I'm taking her to the vet but has anyone else had this similar problem with their dogs?
