Yes, puppies lose their teeth - I used to have 2 of the ones my own retriever spit out. However, my pup was an exeption it seems, they don't usually spit them out, they swallow them - its natural, don't panic.

The age that pups lose their teeth can often vary with each pup - but the average would be between 4 and 8 months. If they get alot of chewing done, or play tug-o-war alot, it can help lossen the baby teeth.

If you notice your pup is missing teeth, s/he is likely teething and will be getting h/er new ones in soon.

My golden was about 5 months when we noticed a baby tooth in the fur of her ear. So of course the" puppy tooth fairy" came and brought her a stuff teddy bear that night. I know, call me crazy, but the kids sure enjoyed it! Puppies lose their baby teeth just like humans - then adult teeth grow in. I guess 4-8 months is about normal.

Its completely normal. Dogs usually start loosing teeth around 4-6 months. Just like humans they have a set of permanet teeth under the first set.

That's the right age to start seeing tooth loss. Anywhere from 4-6 months usually. You should see adult teeth coming in in place of the missing ones very soon.

It is normal, don't worry. They can lose their baby teeth on up through their whole first year. They simply swallow them and you never notice most of the time.

Don't worry about it, just baby teeth, they will grow back in. They lose them after weaning, when they start chewing on harder things.
