I have a really sweet rottweiler/pitt bull mix that I cant keep any more. Hes too rough and a bit moody around my 14month old niece that lives with me, but I dont know how to find him a GOOD home. I love him to death and do not want him to end up on a chain outside somewhere, any suggestions?

I moved with my two, two year old cats a few months ago. They seem to have adjusted well but one or both of them are peeing in the same place. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make this stop? Getting rid of them is not an option so let me know if you have any other ideas.

OK, I'm going to get both of my cats on Frontline soon, but I have to order it online....and since it will take a week or so to get here, I need to look into something else for right this moment. My female cat is experiencing Flea Allergy Dermatitis, so I need to get the fleas killed now. Is the Zodiac Spot On treatment any good? I've heard to not use Hartz products, but I don't know about the others. I'm planning on heading to the store soon....I just can't stand seeing her in pain.

i phoned my vet about getting my dog spayed. i told her my dog had been mounting my fixed dog, who is also a female. she said that since she's been doing that, and she's not a male dog, it may be 'other things' driving her to do so. she said since she's not a male, and my other dog is fixed, reproduction wouldn't be the driving force behind her behavior. when i asked if she was trying to show dominance, she was hesitant to say yes. my other dog is complicit during these encounters, and shows no agression during them. i don't have a problem w/it if she is, as me and my wife are both lesbians. i would just like some answers.

I'm realizing more and more that Rory is lonely. He suffers from incredible separation anxiety, pooping and peeing all over the house, even if I go to the 7-ll for a slurpee. I'm not sure what to do. Can Great Danes find happiness (sexually) from other breeds, as two Great Danes is quite a handful. I was thinking of a German Shepherd, a French Poodle ( a larger one) or an Afghan. Please advise.

Our mare has hormone problems and I know there are some supplements that help control that. Do you have this problem, and if you do, what suppliment do you use?

My boyfriend locked my cat in the closet!! Accidentally. She loves to sneak in open doors and especially the closets where she'll hide behind the sweeper/behind boxes etc. My hubby was getting his jacket out of the closet and in his hurry, didn't notice she had snuck in, so when he shut the door, she got locked in for 4 hrs. I came home from work and couldn't find her, panicked, and then heard her meows from the closet. Poor thing, she couldn't wait to get to the litter box. (thankfully she DID wait;-) Anyway, he felt really bad about it and while she hasn't given it a second thought, I need some really good stories to make him feel better........

Does this happen to anyone else? It is ruining our new sofa, and we keep cleaning it the best we can, but she is destroying it. I tried No-Go, which is sold at the pet store and supposed to keep them from going on stuff. Their litter boxes are always clean. A few years ago, I took my cat to the vet and she told be that my cat is depressed and needs some Prozac, seriously, but how is one supposed to afford/believe that? Any ideas? (BTW, we have 3 cats, and all are fixed except one, and age from 3-8 years old.)

My cat keeps dissapearing for weeks at an end. And as she is at home not more than a few days at a time she is very thin, and always comes home hungry and with her fur all matted up. Other than keeping her shut in, which I don't want, what can I do? I would love to know where she goes.
Thanks.
