There is a mare who had very bad hormone problems. We put her on a moody mare supplement- which is added to her feed every day. Now she is the sweetest horse ever. Check in any of your local feed stores for the supplement. Good luck!

There are many herbal suppliments that offer some relief from moodyness in mares You will have to try and see what works for you.
Or if you want to supress her cycles entirely you can have the vet prescribe ReguMate and use that. When on it they do not cycle. But you must be very careful handling this product and wear gloves as it can affcet humans.

Regumate is a drug you will get out of your vet. it extremely is fee prohibitive, whether. If i'm no longer unsuitable, it could fee around $one hundred/month. I too have a feisty mare who seems to continually be in warmth and have tried right here: Mare Magic: it has raspberry leaf as its significant ingredient and looked as though it would help. After some twelve months of being on it, I felt she wasn't getting the outcomes anymore...i'm unsure in the event that they might boost a tolerance to it (like some human beings and St. John's Wort)? Psycho Sally: An organic menagerie that did no longer look to artwork for my mare, in spite of the indisputable fact that others swear via it. loosen up Her: The valerian root mixture seems to be extra useful than the mixture without the valerian, in spite of the indisputable fact that i think of it exhibits up in blood exams, and would subsequently be discouraged for opposition. Dynamite Breeder's %.: it relatively is what I at the instant use and it sort of feels to assist. I feed this alongside with Dynamite Plus MultiVitamin. i've got confidence the herb you have mentioned is named <<>>. i've got heard it sort of feels to assist to boot. There are additionally a myriad of homeopathic remedies like Bach Rescue treatment. i'm unsure how useful those are. i've got tried some, yet did no longer notice any distinction. variety any of the above names into the quest engine and you could locate retailers. in case you are trying a number of those issues yet locate no relief, i'd evaluate shifting her to a different barn, lest she injury herself or somebody else. sturdy success! :)

We had a mare with eternal PMS and we gave her RelaxHer from smartpak. It works really well. Though you have to put it on something they really like as it is very stinky. We also only feed half the recommended dose and it worked miracles on our mare...
