You could try keeping that door closed, but I know cats tend to kick up a fuss when you do that.
If this is your own place, you may have to take up the carpet where they're peeing, seal the area, and put new carpet down.Otherwise they'll continue to mark the same spot.
Is there something about the litter box they don't like?
Good luck!

She develop into very anxious and may want to pee everywhere in the abode. i found Cat Spraying No More on the internet and the thoughts worked really a lot at present. i have not had a difficulty with Lola on the grounds that. outstanding! won't be able to provide up your cat peeing contained in the abode? Then hardship no extra...

You will have to use something to get rid of the cat pee and the odor. There were several very good suggestions on here last week. I'm sure some of these people will come to your assistance. Make sure that they have the same kind of cat litter as they had before you moved and that it is cleaned every day.

I had this same problem with one of my cats- the only difference is he was peeing on clothing. I had recently changed brands of litter and my cat was mad! I switched back to the old brand and he stopped peeing everywhere but the litter box. When you moved, did you make any changes concerning the litter or the litter box? If not, try to move the litter box to a different locale in your home- they may not be comfortable with where it is now. Good luck!

Some one Pottied in their before and their scent is still their.Close the door to the spare room and clean the carpet if there is carpet with baking soda where they have urinated. Keep the cats out of the area untill it is thourougly dry. If there is no carpet bleach the area and keep the cats out of the room. Keep the spare room door closed when not in use.

They probably still smell their urine, so they keep peeing there. Have you got it all up?
Maybe you need to get new carpet in there. Then close the door to the room for the first few weeks. That will get them acclimated back to their boxes. Hopefully they won't be able to smell any leftover urine odor in the room and will stop peeing in there

Cats tend to pick one area to piss in and thats why there peeing there. So to stop that i suggest putitng a kitty litter box in that room and they'll go there that or killing the cats.

sounds like they are marking their new territory...are they fixed? one of my friends got her cat fixed and that stopped it from peeing everywhere. i would definitely tell your vet about it. if it is a uti then they can give the cats meds for it and the problem should go away.

Try putting two extra litter boxes in the areas in which they urinate, have you tried ruling out urinary tract infection?
