depends on what kind of dog(if it's a herding dog it is natural for them to chase) and is it playing if it is being agressive then you need to enforce to the dog that he is the lowest in the family do not run but stand your ground and tell him no in a stern voice running will only cause him to do it more.

Do Not Kick The Dog, people are so stupid. You need to show that you are dominant, don't run and tell the dog firmly to stop. You have to show the dog that you are in control, kicking the dog will only make it retaliate. The dog thinks it is playing a game and if you run and don't let the dog know you are the boss than it will keep playing the game.

Chase the dog out or unless your mom is scared to tell you to move out so she sent the dog to do that for her but only if you're too old.
