Hummingbird Nectar Recipe
1 part sugar/4 parts water
Boil the water first, then measure and add sugar, at the rate of 1/4 cup of sugar to 1 cup of water.
Let cool and store excess in refrigerator until ready to use.
Do not add food coloring, honey (which ferments), or artificial sweetener, which has no nutritional value.
You will need to clean your feeder every few days, with hot water and a mild (10%) bleach solution to inhibit mold. Rinse thoroughly before refilling with water syrup.

Use sugar and water. Boil water to dissolve the sugar. Avoid the splenda and the food colouring. Get some more food today and replace the sugar and water as soon as possible.

Do not use splenda! Unless you want little dead humming birds all over the yard. Humming birds love sugar water which is almost exactly the same stuff you buy in the store anyway.

Use 4 parts warm water and 1 part sugar not slenda and add a few drops of food coloring to attract the humming birds. Also another bird attraction is to get a pine cone tie a string to it and put some peanut butter on it and hang it birds love it including humming birds. Good luck

I's stick with sugar, rather than splenda. 3 TBSP per cup. Maybe a little red food coloring, too.

Make up a mixture of SUGAR (no subtitutes). I think it's one cup to every cup water. It's some ridiculously sugar amount. I boil the water first and then add the sugar. Let it dissolve and then pour into feeders.

Don't give them Splenda! I don't know for sure that it would be harmful but I wouldn't recommend it.
Use four parts water and one part sugar, boil for one minute and cool.
