Does anyone know of an animal shelter in Michigan that will accept help from volunteers under 18 years old, because so far the only ones i have found you have to be 18 or have your parents stay with you while you are volunteering...

breeding isnt all bad cuz wit out i guess we wood run out of animals but doing it too much SHOULD be illgal! i have 3 breeders in the fam. and hate them 4 it.

I have to get new shears this week but I'm not sure what ones I should get. I like my dog's hair short. And I use shears on my son, not all the time and cleaned ofcourse. I have never used dog shears. I don't knwo what ones to get or if their is a differance between dog and human shears or clippers if any. So can anyone tell me the differance between dog and human clippers and what ones would be best to stand up to use on my dogs. Thanks!

Has anyone ever seen what this type of mix would look like? Would it be a small or big dog? This question is if someone were to breed a male German Shepherd to a Female Chuahua.

She itches and scratches like crazy. She does this wacky thing where she rubs her chin and neck back 'n fourth on the carpet. As a result, she's started to take off fur and skin. She also gnaws at her paws, causing them to either bleed or become irriated like her chin.

We've tried feeding her a teaspoon of oil, and then rubbing her down w/ the stuff a bit, but that doesn't help for more than, like, 5 minutes.

Suggestions?

We've showered her some 3 or so times since the summer has started, using a good shampoo, but she still reeks like no other. She usually smells worse after itching and scratching [she has bad allergies]. How can we get her to stink a bit less? She's an old dog, and it seems like older dogs smell worse [well, that's only baseed off personal experience], could this be true?

Hi, I have asked a few qustions before about Spot's foundation , Taking on abandon and unwanted dogs and cats and giving them shots and food, love, and fixing them. And after that, finding them homes right now and at the moment my frined Kelsey called and we made up and are thinking of ways to make money, shirts, bake sell, yard sell, flee market selling home made pilliows and if you have any ANY informatioin about animal shelters, or starter tips. that would be great.

That Mouse would always come over my house around 8pm looking for some scraps and I noticed since Thursday, he hasn't been around. I left him a cheese sandwich last night with an olive on top..MY neighbor said he used a Mouse trap and got one last week. I asked him if it had a little pink on the right foot, and he said yes. My heart was broke.
