Dog: Poodle, they have hair instead of fur.
Cat: Sphinx, they are bald. Mr. Bigglesworth in the Austin Powers movie was one.
Any type of reptile, amphibian, crustacean, or fish would also work.
Stay away from the rodent family. Rabbit hair is the worst for allergies.

Fish are perfect for people with allergies! But it really depends on what you're looking for in a pet... reptiles usually don't cause allergies, and some of them are fun to handle and have around the house (like iguanas... others seem to have a look-but-don't-touch attitude.) Land hermit crabs also don't let off many allergens. If you absolutely must have something cuddle, you could try a ferret... I have a friend with severe dog, cat, bird, and horse allergies, who isn't bothered at all by ferrets.

Depends what the alergies are. I am allergic to rabbits and cats and hay. I dont keep any of these and dont keep any that need hay... at home. I take benadryl to go to work where I have lots of each. If its the dander or hair of all furry animals, try a tank of fish or a reptile. Chinese Cresteds (I have 3) are pretty good for people with fur allergies but they do take a lot of looking after to keep their skin healthy.

Dogs.. maltese, shih-Tzu, greyhounds, poodles, bischon, chinese crested, soft coated wheaten terriers... and on, and on. You are allergic to the dander not the dogs fur. Bathe it often.
Fish, turtles, cats with no fur. i.e. sphinx

fish.... or froggies..... or short haired animals. they have less dander. but probably if you're allergic then anything fuzzy and warm is out, unless it's a stuffed animal.... but stuffies are really low maintenance as far as pets go, and if you're renting, you don't have to put down a security deposit for them.
