That Mouse would always come over my house around 8pm looking for some scraps and I noticed since Thursday, he hasn't been around. I left him a cheese sandwich last night with an olive on top..MY neighbor said he used a Mouse trap and got one last week. I asked him if it had a little pink on the right foot, and he said yes. My heart was broke.

If you are gonna consider an animal living in the wild as a pet you need to let your neighbor's know. Most people regard Mice as pests and set out traps to kill them. You must make it clear to your neighbor that you view mice as cute. A majority of people fear mice and kill them without thought.

I'm sorry. That would make me upset too. I have had pet mice and do have pet rats. They are very good pets. They can be destructive in the wild and that was probably why your neighbor did what he did. If you are befriending a wild mouse... then try to get him/her and really make them a pet. Just be aware that it is sometimes hard to "get the wild" out of them and make them a pet. The best pet mice/rats are the ones who have been handled from a very young age and become used to people.

you comprehend why. Your neighbor does not like mice. you will have instructed your neighbor which you enjoyed the community mouse with the purple on the nicely suited foot. this isn't any longer your neighbor's fault. i'm sorry with regard to the mouse.

Your neighbor just has a warped sense of humor. He's actually making some new clothes for Mousie. Neighbor really likes your cheese sandwiches too.

Such is life, man. I mean. It is a wild mouse. Most other people do look at them as pests. If you were so concerned about it, you should have just caught it and put it in a cage or something.

unfortunately your neighbor was probably unaware that you had a bond with this mouse, to your neighbor, this mouse was probably just another pest. sorry about your poor mouse though, why don't you get a pet mouse for yourself and keep it away from your neighbor!

he probably killed your "pet" mouse because it's pesky, germ-infested, digging into people's homes, etc etc etc. if it really was your pet, keep it in a cage!
