Siamese cats tend to have an attitude

Its normal for any cat not to like a new cat in the family. Siamese are no more mean then any other cat. It just takes time. And you should keep the new kitten in his own room for at least a week before you try to introduce them Take the blanket or towel that the cats lay on and let them smell the scent at of each other at first. then slowly let them see each other. Take it slow. Don'texcpet to just come home with a new cat and sit it down and the resident cat will be happy. It doesn't happen that way. Owned by 4 Siamese cats now.

Your kitten is the outsider, if the male was first (he feels threatened by the newcomer) and it will take some time to get use to each other. Gradually let them be with each other. It may take some time, Siamese cats that I have known have been over protective of their masters if any other animal has come into its house.

Siamese cats can be quite loving... but I had a siamese cat and she was kinda mean. I have read somewhere where it said that Siamese cats do tend to be mean... I'm sure there are exceptions though.

Siamese cats are no more meaner than your average kid.. if your cat was used to getting attention that it no longer receives it will get jealous and be mean towards the kitten.. give him some time and eventually he'll get used to having the kitten around..

I don't know the answer but I had a siames cat and when i got him the owner told me that siamese sometimes just dont like other cats. They like the attention.Sometimes my cat would hiss and bite people for know reason. I know its possible as kitten you can train them to get along with others but i heard siamese normally dont get along with other cats.

its because siamese are possesive.they like a lot of attention and they are extremely jealous.

Adult cats need time to get used to the newer one they can be very mean for awhile, but give them time they we get used to each other and become to live together peacefully.
