she is only 2 yrs now but was only 1yr and a few months when pregnant.My mom was scared and shock the dog while in labor.she had 1 pup,who died,does she have more to deliver?????????what do i do?

My dog got out the front door and got hit by a car. we took him to the vet and they had to amputate his left front leg. They took it off at the shoulder, so the whole leg is gone, and he walks kind of lop-sided and has no balance. He is also now blind in his right eye.

he can catch frisbee, swim underwater to fetch rocks, and can chew a 2x4 in half. he hates cats, except for the flavor, and eats their tasty little tootsie rolls right out of the litter box. he eats popcorn and hot peppers, drinks beer & bacardi with coke. he likes burritos too, but watch out! he can climb trees, but is chicken to come back down. haha. 10 bonus points if you can guess his name

My vet put him on Hill's Science Diet d/d dog food, and told me he can't have regular dog treats while we're treating his allergies. She told me I can give him carrots and things like that instead. However, he doesn't want the carrots....I've tried several times now. Does anyone know what else a dog on d/d can have? Hopefully there are some vets on here! (I'll call my own vet tomorrow, but my dog is jonesing for treats NOW!)

A little while ago, I wrote about how my in-laws have a kitten which was attacked by a dog. The kitten loves life, and gets around by his front paws. We will be baby sitting him while the in-laws are on vacation. I can't believe the ignorance of some people. (have you ever noticed that many of the rude people on here don't want messages???) Below is what "torbaynewfs" said. It people like this who would abort the handicap babies born with birth defects too!! Terrible!




That is down right cruel to keep a kitten like that alive.

M Shih Tzu scratches & gnaws himself constantly. I give him medicated bathes, program, allergy medication & use frontline.And i have taken him to the vet for allergy shots and nothing stops his itching. What can I do to help releave or stop his itching? He has gnawed the blood out in places , please HELP

My wife's mom is going on vacation today. We will be baby-sitting sitting her little kitten. Not long ago, a big, bad dog came into the neighborhood when the kitten was outside, and attacked him. Now, the liitle guy is paryalized from the waist down, can only walk on his front paws, and uses dapers. He's orange and white. We call him "Trooper". If you remember, please pray for him. Anyway, any ideas how we can make his stay here easier?

I took her to the vet the day after I got her, she was given a thorough examination, in fact she is due to be sterilised next week. So im guessing my little kitty might have a gender problem. Thanks for all ur replies, I'll keep you posted

She sits in the laundry tub crying till i turn the tap on to a trickle then 'plays' in the water for hours. She ends up soaking and is very entertaining to watch, but is this normal cat behaviour??

Ive only ever had dogs before. The thing is when she is cleaning herself she gets what looks like an erection! she definitly has female organs, but this pink thing that comes up is HUGE!! Is this normal or do I have a hermaphrodite kitten???

this has happened to me a few times in the past and its really frustrating. They seem okay but all of a sudden they start swimming sideways or upside down and sometimes it can last for a while like this? why does this happen? can you do anything? They are coldwater fish like goldfish, and orandas and them black ones with googly eyes(cant remember name).

My 1 yr. old female neo mastiff has been treated with amoxicillin for a UTI. Curiously, the vet said that if it didn't clear up after tx., and if I noticed that she has urinated while sleeping, we may have to do further tests. Something about specific gravity in the urine test??? Well, she has peed in her sleep twice since Friday-not a lot-but enough to notice. Her urine still looks quite concentrated. Any idea what she was eluding to? Ican't get her till Monday-The vet on call has no idea about my dog, and sz this can wait?? Is there something really wrong???

I bought a hamster on friday from a pet shop. It's a girl and she's quite big and also has an unusual scent. She has spent most of her time in her house and jumps when we try to go near her.

I know it could be because shes not used to us yet but i've had hamsters before and they've never been like this.

What signs of pregnancy do hamsters normally show and is there anything i can do?
