Animal Shelters....?

Question

Hi, I have asked a few qustions before about Spot's foundation , Taking on abandon and unwanted dogs and cats and giving them shots and food, love, and fixing them. And after that, finding them homes right now and at the moment my frined Kelsey called and we made up and are thinking of ways to make money, shirts, bake sell, yard sell, flee market selling home made pilliows and if you have any ANY informatioin about animal shelters, or starter tips. that would be great.
We are in the 7th grade but know a shelter volunteer and have been asking her qustions so serious answers only please, thanks and thanks,

Why don't you start out by volunteering at a local shelter. That way you can see how they do things, and you will work with a lot of people that may be able to help you in the future.

Wow...what admirable goals!
Try volunteering at a local animal rescue organization, so you can learn the ins and outs of operating a shelter.
Have you talked to your parents about possibly fostering a dog, taking care of it, and adopting it out? You may be able to do this through a rescue organization; they always need foster homes. That will give you an idea of what it's like, and you can start making a difference right now.
The easiest way of starting your own animal shelter is to start small. Take in one or two carefully picked animals, train them, and find them well chosen adoptive families. Make the new family sign a contract stating they will take care of the animal and return it to you if things don't go well. There are lots of examples of a good contract on rescue websites.
