An ori pei is a mix between a pug and shar pei (and no I am not looking for lectures from purebreed owners preaching that mix breeds are evil)

I have just gotten one and just wanted to hear general comments about the dog, temperment and such.

I am also considering getting health insurance for her and was wondering if this the way to go...any known health problems associated with this type of dog?

it makes her look so proper. does your cat do this to. her brother (who I unfortunatly had to put to sleep recently do to illness) did it to. is it just their personality or do all cats do this? just wondering. any ideas? oh, and my 4 month old male kitty hasn't begun to do this yet, but he's soooo wild that he hardly ever lays down anyway. so what do ya'll think? is it just her?

my german shepherd is now 3 and a half. She didn;t have her first heat until she was 2 and a half, and now at 3 and a half she is having her second

Have always considered breeding her, but do you think it is is wise, due to her late and irregular seasons??

I am moving into a one bedroom apt. for myself in about a month, and am wanting a dog for a companion. I really don't dig small dogs, but I know a large dog wouldn't be happy in such small quarters. Does anyone have a breed they could recommend? I also want an active dog, one that likes to go for walks, jogs, or trips to the park to play. My sister has a Corgi and she is trying to talk me into getting one of those. I do love her little Murphie, and he does well in the apt. she lives in. However, I want something different. I appreciate any feedback!

My little peach of a kitten uses the little box (if I am lucky) but doesn't cover it up. I have never experienced this before, but everyone I ask says that their orange cat did the same thing! Is this coincedence?

he's sooooooo wild! he runs sooo fast that he's just like a flash. my concern is that since I've had him he runs so fast that he can't stop himself and ufortunatly slams into a wall or a piece of furniture. is he ok and is this normal for a wild and crazy kitten like mine? I'm a little worried.

my horse seems lame but its not his tendons its just his off fore. he has never been lame before in the 3 years ive owned him, i took off all his shoes recently and ive never done this before( normally just the back two come off during the summer) could it be possible that he is just adapting to having no shoes. or what should i do to get him better? thank you

we have this other pitbull out in the yard and they are not friends.well my dog the one in the house dont get along with other dogs but my out dog got loose and i had to put him in the bathroom for a while well "hercules" my inhome dog,got all exited and wanted to get to the dog in the bathroom,and i told my son to put him in the bedroom where he could not get to the other dog.my intention was to fix the body harn on the other dog to tie him back in his yard... by the way he is on a runner not tied by the neck or nothing like that hes got a good long and confortable chain and a dog house .but the point is that my nine year old got hercules to put him in the bedroom and hercules reacted by snacking on my son i cant say he bit my son but he did scratch him with his mouth and my son got scared and turn him loose. we own hercules ever sense he was a puppy did he attack my son?? or what he trying to get away from him.im concern about this behavior of his.can he turn on us??
