Brine shrimp that you buy to feed your tropical fish live in the Great Salt Lake in Utah. The lake is so salty that nothing else can live in it. The eggs that people hatch to feed baby brine shrimp to their young and small fish are collected from the lake and dried for sale. This is the only place they live.

There are many kinds of shrimp and many of them live in the ocean, but not brine shrimp.

Ok, yes, sea monkeys are a variation of brine shrimp, but for cryin' out loud, they don't live in the frickin' jungle.
