It's up to you if you want to seperate her. If your tank has lots of plants, real or fake, then a few might survive by hiding. This also depends on how many other fish you have in your tank, and also how strong your filter is as some can get sucked up.

Remember though that they can have quite a few babies in one batch, so saving all of them might not make sense if you won't be able to keep them or find other homes for them. I would recommend keeping an eye on her and placing a lot of decorations on one side of the tank. You can also get things like breeder nets and seperate the babies when you see them.

There's also plastic ones you can get that sit in the tank and you put the mother in. When the babies are born they're supposed to be able to drop or swim down where the mother can't get them- however I know most fry like to swim towards the strongest sorce of light which is normally up, not down. These plastic ones also stress the mother.

It depends on if you want her fry to survive. If there are a lot of hiding places in the tank they'll survive. Unless you've got larger fish prone to eating them. If you really want them to survive you can get a breeding tank, or box. Keeping mind swordtails tend to breed a lot so be careful you don't end up with to may fish. They aren't as prolific as their guppy, and molly cousin, but they will happy breed and breed.

I would if you have other fish they may eat the new babies, look it up on-line or go to a pet store and ask someone.

IF YOU WANT BABIES YOU NEED TO PUT HER IN A MATERNITY WARD. THE OTHER FISH WILL MORE THAN LIKELY EAT THEM. NATURAL INSTINCTS TO EAT SMALLER THINGS. SHE MIGHT EVEN SNACK ON A FEW HER SELF IF THERE IS NOT PROPER COVER FOR THEM TO HIDE IN. HOPE THIS HELPS

You don't have to seperate her but it is best if you do if you want to have a better chance that they will survive.
