Anyone who says to put him own or that pitbulls are evil have never been close enough to one to appreciate the breed. Yes there are those that have made a bad name for pitties but, it's the owner not the breed. I witnessed a beagle just about rip a kids eyeball out and are they evil? Should they all be banned or euthanized? I doubt it. Anyways... my 3 year old pitbull acts the same way. He just loves attention sooo much. Most people don't realize what a loving dog he is. They just see the moth on a light bulb behaviour when they visit. I don't put him away in his crate right away. I give him a chance to see everyone and if he does not settle down, then he goes in. As for other dogs, pitbulls usually are aggressive towards them. That's why it's better to only keep one pitbull at a time. And I don't have kids yet but I don't think I would trust any dog with a kid alone. If you decide you can't keep him, there are shelters to take him to. Usually older pitbulls don't get homes so you know what happens to them but, putting ads in the paper might help. Maybe some doggie obedience could help! Good luck!

You should get rid of one of the dogs. You should not keep any dog you intend as a pet outside away from people. No good will ever come of that. You cannot expect a 9 year old to be able to handle a pit bull. They can be very stubborn and they are very strong and can force their will if the person handling them does not know how. Find a good rescue organization to take one of your dogs. They will try to find it a good home. You should read some books or dog behavior, that could help a lot.

Your fault on owning a PItbull. You know they are unstable. The most inbred dog in history. You can not "unteach" 1000 years of instinct, and say all you want but statistics do not lie, and the next closest dog behind attacks on people is a distant second! Look it up. The funniest thing is when you read in the paper about a attack the people are like " I can't believe Lucifer would bite anybody". Look at all the names people name that useless dog.

Never trust a pit bull around children. You are playing with fire here, your children are at risk. Who do you love more, the kids or the dogs? What will you feel like when one of those dogs attacks your child or someone elses child? I sure am glad you are not my neighbour.

Some of those dogs are great... while others are just mean... like ANY dog... You SHOULD have him put down since he is displaying such aggressive behavior and he's going to end up hurting someone..... hopefully not your son.
