My little peach of a kitten uses the little box (if I am lucky) but doesn't cover it up. I have never experienced this before, but everyone I ask says that their orange cat did the same thing! Is this coincedence?

Coincidence!! I have an orange male cat, and he spends allot of time in making sure he covers every inch!! Usually cats that dont cover their poop is either expressing that they are dominant, common with a house of more than one cat, or just that their too busy to take the time to do it!

Kittens sometimes need prompting/reminding about going "IN" the litter,,,, itll be OK, they grow out of it, and before you know they are pros!! Just make sure you keep the box scooped out, cuz they dont like a lumpy box!

The color of the cat has nothing to do with it. It's the individual cat. I have 17 cats at home (including a couple oranges) and only one, a siamese doesn't cover their feces.

the actual incontrovertible reality that she's hiding away and retaining up her paws is evidence that she's in countless soreness and that i imagine you need to verify a vet once you could, yet as some different person has stated, please see a vet that cares adequate about cats to really refuse to declaw them, please do not re-visit whoever has ruined your cats feet because, to be blunt, he/she can make a serious situation ten situations worse and your cat ought to lose a paw or lose her existence by an infection. sure she is depressed, who does no longer be after having palms/feet amputated and being in consistent soreness? i do not recognize why she isn't masking her poo, you're fortunate she's nonetheless making use of the litterbox as many declawed cats do not! yet i does no longer be dragging her paws by the sand at the same time as they're sore and hurting, supply the little soul a destroy and help her with suggestions from cleansing the stinky poo away as right now as conceivable and retaining the litterbox sparkling for her. it is totally unhappy that such countless human beings settle for the amputation of their cats feet as regular and recurring as neutering at the same time as, in reality, this intense and extremely painful and anxious surgical procedure ought for use as an absolute very last motel that may make it an rather very not often done technique. It should not be used merely in case a cat scratches you by twist of destiny, or your furnishings nor rather to training children and little ones to carry close and be careful of and straightforward with animals, yet as long as everyone appears to be like keen to pay massive money there are unscrupulous vets who under no circumstances worry to describe merely what's in contact and what the hazards of after outcomes are, both bodily and mentally. Declawing is often and only for the great thing about the owner...under no circumstances the cat. i wish you could get some alleviation from soreness on your cat and that i wish your older cat would not commence to conflict through joints pains and so on as he receives older as a outcome of getting to stroll on toeless paws. Please help us now to instruct different cat vendors and attempt to delivers up different cats suffering an identical as your Lilly is.
