it makes her look so proper. does your cat do this to. her brother (who I unfortunatly had to put to sleep recently do to illness) did it to. is it just their personality or do all cats do this? just wondering. any ideas? oh, and my 4 month old male kitty hasn't begun to do this yet, but he's soooo wild that he hardly ever lays down anyway. so what do ya'll think? is it just her?

i think that it runs in the family if your other cat did it to or just maby personality but it would be really cool if he started to do it and it is just nature for them to be wild

Out of my 4 cats, one of them does that! Its so cute, but then, everything a cat does is cute, they all have their own personality which makes them such unique animals!

It's totaly fine! i have 5 cats and only one of my cats does it~ she lies down and first thing does it;i think it might be a comfort thing... but it also does make them look proper. my cat if you lay her on her back in your arms does it then too. its totaly fine if your cats doing it! shes a pirincess! : )

Sorry to hear about your male cat. My female and male dog does it must be comfertable for them to lay and sit like that. also my nanas cat tilly does this.

All three of my cats, male and female, do this!!!
Good manners i guess.. It must be the way we raise them!!! lol

My cats do this sometimes..the dogs i had in the past also did it..I think maybe they are posing for pic..(just kidding) i guess its comfortable..i know its cute when they do it!!

i dont know about cats, but my female dog does it all of the time!! i think that it is soo cute, good luck with the kitten!

That's very cute, mine do it only sometimes. I like when they lie with their front paws stretched in front of them like a Sphinx!
