he's sooooooo wild! he runs sooo fast that he's just like a flash. my concern is that since I've had him he runs so fast that he can't stop himself and ufortunatly slams into a wall or a piece of furniture. is he ok and is this normal for a wild and crazy kitten like mine? I'm a little worried.

I already have a 2 year old female, and the SPCA already neutered him gave him his vaccinations.

Sounds like a kitten, do you call him rocket?
They are soooo cute when they just take off and run and run and run and then just colapse somewhere.
As he gets older he will calm down. He will probably need a lot of toys and go through them like mad.

this is normal, because when he was in the spca he was caged up, but now you let him run around he will be like that for a little while, cause he is a kitten he is still learning how to do everything, that includes his footing, once he knows where the walls are he will stop hitting into them, he will slow down once he gets a little bigger. so i would enjoy it while you can, this is the best time to have some crazy cat toys where he can jump and have a good time......

Perfectly normal. He's just so happy to be out of the animal shelter and free to run. He will learn to stop in time before he crashes into something and settle down as he gets older. Give him a ball, or a crumpled up piece of paper - even an opened up paper bag he can get into. He will have fun playing with those things and it might distract him from the running and crashing

It is completely normal, kittens are very playful and full of energy. He could potentially hurt himself but it isnt very likely to be serious. If you get some interactive toys, balls with bells in them or a feather on a stick, things like that will keep him focused instead of running around like crazy.

Dont be worried, Kittens are so energetic! He's almost old enough to be neutered, I hope you plan on it, theres too many unwanted kitties around.... If you have males neutered before 6 months old they wont ever spray... and they make such nice pets!

Yes, this is normal for young cats. They tend to mellow with age. However, this is also why many shelters recommend that you adopt two cats at the same time (so that they have someone to chase/play with.

Just being a kitten. No different then kids....they all fall down, get bumps, bruises....part of being a kid and playing.

Kitten will stop if it hurts itself.....cats are highly intelligent animals.
