are you sure you want a pomeranian? My friend has one and she is begging me to take her, they are yappers! They are also high maintenance because of all of that hair! If you do want one though, you could probably check local shelters or sometimes they have rescues for specific breeds. Go to Yahoo and type in Pomeranian Rescue. They are very cute and if I didnt already have 6 dogs dumped on me I would probably take her, I am a sucker for a homeless dog!! ha ha

ug you can have mine he is barking like a maniac at a dang bird ........totally kidding, poms are great little dogs but they don't really like strangers and they bark a lot. oh yeah and they shed a lot too so you have to keep them brushed. Besides that they are sweet, cute, energetic, and loving dogs. they love your attention and want to be with you all of the time. if you want a free one , or more likely one that you can take for the cost of a spay or neuter, check local shelters and new papers also look for a Pomeranian rescue service, know that by doing this you may end up with a special needs dog or one with health problems be prepared for that and if you can't afford to pay for frequent visits to a vet or you don't have the time to take care of the dog wait until you can afford a healthy dog or until you have more time. Good luck!

1. You don't buy something that's free. 2. Even shelter dogs aren't free. You still have to pay adoption or rehoming fees. 3. Taking care of pets costs a lot of money. If you're concerned about having to pay money just to get the dog, then how do you expect to pay for its food, toys, vet care, etc? 4. You can try craigslist, but it's full of scam artists and creeps.
