My dog cries like wolf rather than barking. Altough it does bark on strangers but when alone it cries like wolf. why so?

my turtle spends all day in a cage. i can't help but think that it must be boring for him. i was wondering would it be ok to let him out in the grass to get out a bit. (I would be watching him of course)

I wanna know if a persian cat is good for children.

I have a two years old nephew who comes home often, and I was thinking of keeping the cat in my room, in case it can do harm to him or vice versa.

Besides, he's had a chihuahua dog, rest his soul, and stuff didnt go well. o_o

soo there was a storm by my house this week and the wind made a squirrel's nest fall out of a tree. i found three other babies but they were dead. then i found this little guy in the grass. he was still alive. he can't be more than a few days old. he doesn't have any hair and his eyes aren't open yet. its really sad soo i couldn't leave him outside. i don't know if its possible to raise a squirrel. soo should i keep it or take it to a shelter?

Peta has been helping animals for a long time now and other peple have been spreading rumors about them saying we kill animals and put them to sleep for no reason. We love what we do and what we do is help animals. Why do some people have such a big deal with that? People who wear fur. How would you people like it if the animals killed you, skinned you alive and wore you as a Fashion statement? Paris Hilton is now Anti-Fur. Bands like Good Charlotte, Le Tigre, Simple plan, Fall Out Boy, Hawthorne heights and many more cool bands are trying to spread the word but you choose not to listen. My Question is WHY DO YOU HATE PETA??

i have 9 animals, kalli my oldest cat is 3 years old and we've had her since she was 8 weeks,kit-kit is a ferral cat she is 2 years old and we have also had her since she was 8 weeks ,oreo is 1 years old we have had her since she was 8 weeks one time she was gone for 3 weeks and then there is betty my youngest cat she is 5 months old and we've had her since she was 3 months old.
I have a 2 year old dog(basset hound) she will be 3 july 26 and we have had her since march 24 and i have a dwarf hamster,hammy ive had her for like 2 months and i have a goldfish,goldy i had 4 over a year and i have 2 parakeets kiwi and birdy(my grandpa died from a heart attack a few days ago on monday and he used to call me birs ever since i was little and i am 14 now) and i have had them since saturday which was 5 days ago.my mom wants to keep kalli and kit kit but i have always wanted a dog and she has known that and if she didnt want that those animals then why did she get them?

I am a 25 year old guy thinking about getting a cat. I want a cat that's going to be more of a lap cat and be pretty affectionate. I have heard that male cats are affectionate and nicer to female humans and female cats are more affectionate and nicer to male humans. Which sex do you think would be the best for me?

Well my family started out with just one cat that showed up at our porch and then its brother…then the female kitten had kittens! We invited tehm inside and now we have two kittys around we gave the kittens away but now we have a third cat hanging around…it seems our energies pull the homeless kittys our way..anyone else have similar experiences?

It is a friends dog who I haven't seen in a few years. She is terrified of having to have her put down and I am insisting that she take it to a vet. I am on limited income and I can't imagine the poor girl, who's nose is dry as the sahara, suffering while my 'friend' takes care of her own daily business. Any suggestions?
