one is taller uglier has a bigger nose that is the silkshire terrior the yorkie is smaller closer to the ground usually more friendly small small nose cuter totally. i say go for the yorkshire it does cost more SOMETIMES not always though Good luck!!! :) silky have a silver kinda color so they do look the same kida except the silky has a different color to it one color only usually

They are TWO DIFFERENT BREEDS! BOTH are AKC RECOGNISED,So..BOTH have a WRITTEN BREED STANDARD! Go look em up at the AKC site. Toy Group.
