I had a short haired all-white cat (green eyes) for 15 years---it's NOT rare.
Please be careful with it in sun thought--they can get sunburned. Better for it to be an indoor kitty.

Ok, my little muffins, you are all barking up the wrong tree, so to speak.
When a cat goes into heat, she will mate with any number of toms that present themselves, and it is entirely possible that every kitten in a litter may have a dfferent sire.
The chance of an all-white kitten appearing in a litter is the same as the chances of one of the mates being all-white.

White short-haired cats are not rare. It's also not unusual for kittens to have colors or fur length very different from their parents.

It is not rare at all; we see plenty of all white cats at the shelter where I volunteer. I hope that you plan to spay the Mom cat; there are far too many cats without homes.

Does the white cat have blue eyes? It is a trait in white cats with blue eyes to be deaf. We had one a fee years ago and she was the best cat ever....she was so lovable and wasn't scared of anything because she couldn't hear anything.

First of all, it's not an albino like he said unless it has pink eyes...white cats really aren't that rare at all.

White cats can be born deaf (they usually can't hear). So, check it out.
I had a white cat once (He had one blue and one yellow eye. In the night he had red eyes) and we had to watch him carefully because he couldn't go out and he didn't hear anything.
