it started with what looked like white scars on a few fish, i thought they had scraped on objects in tank, now they have what looks like ick. fins are ragged and they are not eating and just lay on the bottom.I treated them for ick but several have died. their mouths have turned white and their eyes are white . now there is this white cottony growth covering the bottom of my tank. water is clear and ph levels are in normal range. leaving for vacation in a week. any help will be wonderful thanks very much

Hey guys and gals.

Ever since I'm 6, I've pestered my parents to get me a cat. It goes something like this every time:

"Hey dad, can I have a kitten?"

"Ask your mom."

Then I ask her:
"Hey mom, can I have a kitten?"

"No." "You had one when you were 4 and you didnt take care of it."

Grr... It makes me so angry how she doesnt let me even though that was when I was four!
And then, I remember I didn't even liked her because my brother always told me she was his! So yeah.

I havent asked her in quite some months, so if I ever ask her again, I'm sure she wont get angry or anything.

How can I convince her?

I was thinking of buying one without her permission.
I know she wouldn't really care, as long as I take good care of it afterwards. My brother's done that too, and she didnt even care.

Is that a good idea?

I do have space (in my house) and money to take care of a cat, and none of us have allergies, so I know that is not the problem.

Any help would be appreciated!~

My dashchund bit a friend last night, im so gutted, taking him to the vets today to get him checked out, could it be a tumour? hes been getting worse lately, hates ppl coming to the door and he goes for our Cavalier. can the vet force me to put him down? . :-(
