for homemade dog treats. But they are all made from human food, so what's the problem with giving occasional human food?

I took in two abandoned kittens. They are now 6 weeks old. I have never had cats before so I could use some help. First of all is it normal that they lie in their litter box ( only when it has not been used). Also is it normal that they do not drink any water or milk? Thanks

The reason I ask is yesterday i saw a cat get hit by a truck on a country road, the truck didn't even slow down, this poor animal was suffering badly, bleeding and trying to cry out in pain, the only humane thing to do was to shoot it, which ended the animals suffering. I know I did the right thing but I feel so bad about it, I've never had to shoot a suffering animal before. There was NO hope of this cat living after the truck hit it, I won't describe the injurys, just be assured it was the ONLY humane thing to do.Why does it hurt my heart when I remember it? Could you have done the humane thing, and was I right for doing it?(I have a cat as a pet, maybe that's why it hurts to think of it?)

I just added anemone to my tank yesterday. How do I know if she is dying or will she be alive? She has not eaten yet this morning. Do I need to place food right on her mouth? I saw red thing coming out of her mouth this morning. Was she pooping? Or Was she bleeding? And does she use her mouth to poop and eat? Help Help!!! I'm in chaotic now.

how do encourage a dog to drink water. my mom is taking care of my brothers dog while he is out of town for a few days and she said that his dog wasn't drinking much water and only piddled once yesterday. what are some ways of encouraging a dog to drink enough water in warm weather.

What are the advantages, disadvantages? So far, kitty just keeps me awake at night wanting to play. Other than that, he's sweet as can be. Is there anything I need to be aware of for the future? Will he wig out on me? (I've never had a cat before)

why oh why wont this cat go away?? I do not enjoy going out everyday and cleaning all the cat hair and paw prints off of my porch, my brand new grill,( yes its covered!, but hair flys) and my furniture! I dont enjoy going out to plop down to relax and find myself sitting in a pile of cat hair and I sure dont want to bite into that big juicy steak only to find a cat hair staring me in the face! YUCK! I know people love THEIR pets but their pets are my problem! If I wanted a cat hanging around, I'd get one! any ideas?
