my mom adopted me a dog from pet in arnold and the people saidthat the dog was a blue mountain sheperd but i looked every were on the inernet and i luv dogs so i have alot of books on them and i still cant find anything.my dog hayley must not be that i guess

Well it's not listed on the AKC list of breeds but when you search for it there are a lot of results. One lady has a picture of German shepherd like dog but it has a blue coloring to it. And you have to keep in mind that dogs are called different names in different regions. So yes somewhere out there I'm sure people own dogs that have this name.

are you maybe thinking of a Blue Heeler? I have heard people say they are in the shepherd family, but I'm not sure about that. They are also called Australian Cattle Dogs.

I have never heard of it. But at this moment in time, there are so many hybred breeds, such as the labradoodle, who knows who's breeding what to come up with the new best thing ever.

Not in the AKC, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist; only that they don't recognize the breed.

yes, there a hybred raised for hunting small ground animals, I had one as a kid and I own one now
