No, but make sure you do it correctly. Cats are best stuffed with mushrooms and pumpernickle, dogs with thyme, sage, and sourdough, and parrots with water chestnuts and wild rice.

No it is not, but I on the other hand would not like to look at my stuffed dead animal. The memories of when it was alive would be too painful. After all(not trying to be insensitive) your pet or animal is dead. I would get an enlargement picture of my pet. That way as they say a picture speaks a thousand words, in your case good memories.

There is nothing wrong with it...except people will think you're a weirdo and meanest person in the world to have your dead pet stuffed!

eeeewww...weird!

Yes! Isnt it better to have photos or memories of your pet rather than a stuffed animal glaring at you?

I don't think it's wrong to have your ex husband stuffed, much less a pet.

Hmmm...I've heard of it. I think it's a personal choice. I'm not sure I would have said dead pet on display, as close friends/family might worry about you. I'm not a fan of taxidermy in general. I'm not saying it is wrong, I'm just saying, don't tell anyone about it. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't want to know.

Not really. I have a friend who has this neurotic Siamese cat whom the brother of the family says when she is dead that he will finally get to pet her. Heh

it's not against the law, unless of course, the animal is not dead yet.. rather morbid, but hey, if you want to look at your pet in the same position for the rest of your life, dust it, clean it's glass eyeballs... go for it. also, I hope you don't have any critters in your home such as mice, rats, chipmunks, lice, or fleas... the dead guy might not like having to be exterminated...
