Purple!
The smurfs are normally blue. The color purple is made by combining red and blue.
Blood (unexposed to air) is purple.
Cutting the air supply off will only darken the complexion more leaving a narrow band of mid-spectrum light (green) absorbed. The consequence is the color purple.

the "smurfs" I have turn a deep shade of purple when choked. The other little ones who felt very sad I'm sure didn't show any unusual color changes. An interesting fact also is that the inside of smurfs are blue, as well as their blood. They also don't seem to speak or understand English very well, hence the unfortunate choking experience. You can't choke a smurf. Smurfs may look cute with their little hats and mushroom houses. But in reality they are down right deadly. They are trained in the deadly art of Smurf Fu. And if that doesn't work they can spray a toxic liquid from their anus and genitals. The vile liquid destroys living cells on contact and can cause seizures blindness and death. They really are nasty little shits. I know this because I have bred smurfs for years. I have my own little smurf army with about 1,200 troops. They do all my dirty work for me.

Any self respecting smurf will turn a bright fluorescent blue when choked. If you embarrass a smurf tho it turns a lovely shade of lavender.

Probably either a darker shade of blue maybe like a royal blue, or purple..lol
