i have a Beta fish, and the kittens just discovered him. right now he is just in a regular fish bowl, if i put it up higher, the kittens are going to grow and find it anyway... and good ideas to keep "silly" the fish out in public view AND keep the kitties from having lunch>?

Years ago a "friend" of mine dumped a stray cat on me even though I said I didn't want it. I have been taking care of it for years. I recently asked my "friend" to take it back and he said no.

This cat 1) scratches my furniture 2) scratches my carpet 3) demands too much attention and literally bugs me 4) makes the place dirty 5) makes it impossible for me to have guests since it bugs my guests and is not well mannered.

In short, the cat makes me miserable. (I am also slightly alergic to it)

What's the easiest way to get rid of it? I don't want to do something mean like abandon it, but I also don't want to put up ads trying to find a loving home. I mean, that pisses me off. Why do I have to do go through that kind of a hassle when this cat was dumped on me to begin with? Putting up ads will take forever too since everyone wants a new kitty, not a former stray cat.

So please suggest an easy, quick way to get rid of it.

I have two dogs 1 is a puppy and 1 is 3 years. I feel like i have an addiction to petting and playing with only my puppy. Is there something wrong with, or is it just my head playing tricks?

i got my 7 week old kitten 3 days ago and i dont know how to get him to stop crying. when i pick him up, he stops but if i move or sit him down, he starts screaming. nothing seems to work to get him to stop except for wrapping a towel around him and putting him in a box. but even that doesnt work for long.
another problem i have with him is, how do i get him and my 8 month old male cat to be friends? the older one just hisses at him if he comes near.

I mean, where do they go, do they just hide and sleep somewhere, how far do they wander? And what time of day do they stop sleeping and come out?

I have a cat that doesn't listen to me when I call him, he doesn't get off the counter when I tell him no, and he kind of just does his own thing. Our dogs recognize human tone - they know when I am mad at them, they know that when they throw up on the carpet that they are in trouble and have to go outside. They hunker down and look like their sorry. The cat, on the other hand, chases flashlights, and looks the other way when you call him. So, are cats independent, or do they suffer a much less capable brain?

lately all she does is lick and clean herself. This is starting to get on our nerves. We hear this licking and lapping all day and night long. She used to play with her stuffed animals( the old taco bell dogs, here lizard, lizard, lizard ones). Now its this slurping sounds and all the time.
Would anybody know why she is doing this? Shes 2 and half years old, and weighs less than 3 pounds, she is the only dog we have along with the cat, and we know the cats not messing with her.

No rude remarks please, there are children reading this.

I have a puppy Westie named Hank, and I felt silly standing outside telling him to go potty, so now I say, Do the Hank Machine, and he lets it fly. Does anyone else have a Hank machine, or any other type of machine?
