First purchase several cans of KMR (stands for Kitten Milk Replacer). You should be able to find this at your local pet store. There will be directions on the can as to exactly how much to feed. While you're there pick up an infant nurser (a tiny bottle and nipple) to feed the kitten. You should feed the kitten at least four times per day, or every six hours. (Take the daily amount to feed and divide into four feedings).
The easiest way to feed is actually via a feeding tube which you pass down the kitten's mouth and directly into the stomach. This prevents them from inhaling any of the formula. Since you should take the baby to the vet to have it checked, ask him/her to show you how to do this.
In an emergency you can use about 4 oz. of whole cow's milk, mixed with two raw egg yolks (just yolks, not whites), and a drop of a liquid multivitamin (in a true emergency you can skip the vitamins).
The very most important thing next to food is keep the kitten warm. Tiny kittens and puppies can't hold their own temperature well, and if they get cold they will not eat and will die. A heating pad works, but keep it on low and keep a towel over it, because it can create hotspots that will burn the kitten and create even more problems. Check the baby constantly.
Again, take it to the vet to be checked out and he/she can help you further.
Best of luck to you!

Be sure to keep it WARM.
The kitten should be kept in a box on some dry towels in a warm, draft-free place, completely isolated from other animals.
DO NOT feed it cow’s milk or "regular" milk because it is not nutritious enough for kittens - they will slowly starve to death on it.
Here are some Emergency Milk Formulas you can make:
http://www.kittencare.com/askKC_Feeding_Kittens.html#emergency_formula
And here's a "Kitten Rescue Handbook" with good advice.
http://www.kittenrescue.org/handbook.htm
BUT...the best thing, right now is....
Call a local Vet, Animal Shelter or Humane Society and they will give you the advice you need and can probably give you some Kitten Formula you can feed it.
Do it real soon, ok?

Walmart sells bottles for kittens, and kitten milk in their pet aisle. Just feed the kitten every 3 hours like a baby. Feed it till it isn't interested any longer. Make sure it is peeing and pooping on it's own (should because it's old enough to have its eyes open...but) if it's not, after you feed it, and in between, take a wash cloth and rub it's lower back (right above it's tail).Make sure it stays warm (remember, mom's not there for kitten to snuggle under). Put towels and possible even a stuffed animal with it. Just treat it like you would a baby! Good luck!

go to the vets offoice buy mothers milk for kittens and buy a bottle as well at the vets, and feed it like you would a baby keep it on all four legs like it would if it was nursing from its mother now comes the yukky part they can't potty without help right now so get a paper towel wet it with warm water and rub their private areas to help them to go same as their mother would do. Remember to keep the kitten warm, put it in a box with a blanket or towel or something after about 6 weeks the kitten should be ready for kitten food if you need to soften it with some water of the mothers milk

First of all take it to your vet. then got to your local pet store and buy a tiny baby bottle. If it is that young you may need to bottle feed it. If it is a little older try moist kitten food from a can or pouch. Then as it starts to get a little older slowly mix in dry food because always getting moist food will hurt their teeth and make them sick. You can ween out the moist food my mixing a little dry with it increasing it each day until you no longer have the moist food. By taking it to the vet you can further determine the age and what king of feeding you need to start with. Good luck kittens are fun!

Go to your local vet and ask for info on raising abandoned kittens. They make kitten milk replacer, that you can buy at most pet supply stores.
Raising orphaned animals is a big job. This thing is going to need to eat every 2 hours, all night long. Are you sure you're up for this?

its hard if you don't know the exact age. i encourage you to take it to see the a vet. kittens can have multiple issues. sometimes they will need a heat lamp and blankets. a kitten needs a litter or else they won't rest right. kittens can have respiratory issues or trouble eating that you can't even know about. your kitten may or may not be ready to be weened. it may need a dropper or a bottle or a saucer. you have to get milk from the vet but he needs to see the kitten to tell you its nutritional needs. if the other has died a simple trip to a vet is your best chance. hope the kitty makes it through.

go to you local pet store. They have special kitten formula milk available. you will have to bottle feed it until it is big and strong enough to eat dry food with a mixture of the milk in it. Go to your local pet store and they will tell you everything you need to know and everything you will need to get to help this kitten.. You are a good person to be trying to take care of this kitten. Good Luck

What a good heart you have. I have been in this situation before, you can go to a store that sells pet supplies and buy puppy milk in a can and a puppy bottle and feed the kitten yourself. They might have cat milk in a can, but I have never seen it.
