Wash it. You would think that wouldn't be a good idea, that it would lose its softness, but we have several fleece blankets that we've made and washed. We have to, I have two cats. They come out feeling great and very clean.

If it doesn't wash out well or come out in the dryer, take a sticky lint remover and roll it over the blanket. If that still doesn't work, I'm not sure what to tell you ... hand picking would work but is VERY time consuming. Make the blanket a permanent cat blanket?

try to get as much of the hair out by using rubber gloves....just put them on and slide your hands over the blanket, rubbing the hair to one spot, then give the blanket a good wash using fabric softener(either in the washer or dryer, or both)
Good Luck

Try using a big piece of tape, the hair should stick to the tape, might take a while but it should work!

If mine gets really bad I lint roll it first then wash, make sure you use fabric softener so there is little static cling. Make sure you wash it more often now so it doesn't get so bad.
When you wash it make sure you don't wash it with anything thqat will make it ball up or pile.

Put it in the dryer on low no heat, and also add a towel rather a damp towel and see if this works for you. It did me.
