I have a puppy Westie named Hank, and I felt silly standing outside telling him to go potty, so now I say, Do the Hank Machine, and he lets it fly. Does anyone else have a Hank machine, or any other type of machine?

It's not what u say...its the tone of your voice...I use to tell my dog Turbo-Charged, to go get his baby in an excited voice and he would always bring me something. If he did something wrong I would say sternly, What did u do!! and he would hang his head. Pets are very smart, and the more time you spend with them, the smarter they will be.

I trained my oldest dog to go "potty potty" and my husband won't say that.
