Growing up, i've always had pets. It seemed though, that any time we tried to take on a rabbit it would die within a couple months for no apparent reason. I figured now that i am older, i should try again so i bough a flemish giant rabbit at a local fair. I figured that being a sensible adult i could keep the rabbit healthy for a long time. But sure enough, he died pretty soon after i bought him. Is there something out there i should of been doing that i didn't know?

My dog (9 mos. old boxer) contracted this virus and I have taken her to the vet and started treatment. The vet said that we caught the signs early. She is not drinking or eating for 24+ hrs now and still very lethargic. She is on I.V. fluids and medication the 2nd dose was this morning.

1.) How long will it take for her to be 50% - 100% recovered?
2.) Is it "normal" that she has a yellowish vomit?
3.) What is your prognosis?

Please feel free to give as much information as you can about this condition...

Thank you for your time...

My Friend Alexa, has been scared of horses when she was little. People today judge people as soon as they see them. She walked up to a horse and the horse accidentally bit her hand when she was feeding the horse oats.. When the horse bit her she started to scream, " I HATE that stupid dumb horse!!!" So you think that she should have judged the horse that fast???

My puppy was diagnosed with parvo on Monday morning. She has been in the hospital since then hooked up to an IV and antibiotics. Yesterday morning she looked a lot better and today she is back to being very lethargic, almost like she has no idea who she is or anything. I am wanting to know if this is normal for a dog to kind of get better and worse for a couple of days, or if she is just going to continue to suffer until she passes. Let me know if you know anything about this please. Thank you!

Animal hospitals and shelters put animals down all the time. So it would seem it's not a crime.

But what if someone bought a dog or cat and killed it? Would they go to jail?

According to Wikipedia, Senator Bill Frist, when he was a medical student, got cats from a shelter and did medical experiments on them and killed them. I don't think he ever got into trouble for it. I mean, he's our freaking Senate majority leader so it obviously did not hurt his career.

What's the law on this kind of thing? I would never kill an animal but I am curious.

Can the cage be an aqurium that has a vented lid? What things should be in it and can I use a regular bowl for the water dish instead of a bottle. What do rats eat?

I lost a 5 year old that was hardly sick a day in her life after a rain and the mushrooms came up. Then the puppy we got to replace her suddenly within a few hours got sick and died just like the first one. We moved and go 2 more puppies...i just lost one of them 2 days ago and now the other one looks like he might be getting sick. It just rained here again and the mushrooms came up. But they have all eaten cat food too. I was told by a lady one time that cat food can kill a dog because of the ash content in it the dogs digestive system can't handle that. But the vet said it might make them have diahrra (not sure if i spelled that right, lol) but it wouldn't kill them. But something is killing them and I can't figure out what's going on. Please somebody help me before I lose another puppy. Been giving him penicillin today. Was giving them Benedril for some kind of skin allergy they seems to have. Help me save my puppy please somebody. Thank you..

Did anyone else feel scared before they got their dog? Did anyone regret getting a dog? I'm thinking of getting s Springer Spaniel so it's unlikely to be aggressive, but I usually go on holiday 3 times a year, so will have to either reign it in or fork out for kennels.

Is this normal for a sheltie? If not, what kind of problems can it cause. He is 12 years old. He's approx 17" tall and weighs 29lbs.

It appears to be a bug of some kind. It's sort of a grey color, looks a little fuzzy and has A LOT of legs. They tend to be between 1"-2.5" long. I usually spot them in basements. I typically know about these things, but this is one I don't. They really creep me out.

He is very sluggish and will not open his eyes, and he won't eat unless hand fed (and will not eat the worms or crickets - we had to give him another food - won't name it in case some readers are squeamish).

The vet is very very far away, no one in my area will treat reptiles. Has anyone seen these symptoms in a water dragon?

I will take him to the vet if I can't find out what the problem is by tomorrow.

Please help!
