My Friend Alexa, has been scared of horses when she was little. People today judge people as soon as they see them. She walked up to a horse and the horse accidentally bit her hand when she was feeding the horse oats.. When the horse bit her she started to scream, " I HATE that stupid dumb horse!!!" So you think that she should have judged the horse that fast???

she probably was holding her hand out wrong so it accidentaly bit her so she should of just given it another chance because unless a horse is mean they usually don't try to hurt you on purpose unless you treat them wrong.

Wow... Is your friend Alexa the only person you know? How is that you have come to the conclusion that "People" hate horses. Hell, I bought an entire house because it had horses behind it... It is a common reaction (especially in the immature breed of horse hater.) to spit things like that out when you get hurt or scared. Horses hurt when they bite you know! I got bit in the *** by a horse and it didn't tickle but I am an adult so no, I don't hate horses. I do however hate balloons because I had a few popped in my face... STUPID BALLOONS! and I actually do, hate balloons now... so.

Anyhoo... 2 points for me hurray!

As a young boy growing up on my grandfather’s farm, the greatest thing was Old Doc, a daraf horse. I had my own personal gentle giant. This horse was so big that I couldn’t get on him without climbing on the fence. He always stood still and let me get on. He never stepped on me, although he had feet as big as a gallon bucket. I think this is one reason I was never afraid of horses.

The horse had just bitten her...I know it hurts like h***...they have strong jaws...so I don't think she was in the wrong. I think the problem is people don't know how to handle horses. She might have been holding her hand wrong (it's supposed to be flat, right?), or something. I like horses, and I ride sometimes...I'm not scared of horses. I'm rambling because I'm tired....yeah.

Well of course not because she probably wasn't holding her hand out the correct way. Anyone who has been around horses should know the correct way to hold out your hand when feeding a horse.

Of course not! It's not the horses fault. I rode western saddle for almost 7 years, and I've seen much worse, she shouldn't be so quick to judge.

Scared of guns, horses. We need seatbelts, helmets when playing coccor, helmets on bikes, etc.

The nation is turning into a bunch of sissies. Our great nation was built on the backs of scientists, builders, immigrants workers and soldiers who cracked thier skull a few times. We need to toughen up

How do you "judge" a horse? It's an animal. I would be upset if it bit me, too. How does your one friend qualify as "people nowadays"?

my sister did that to my hamster, and her poor dog when they bit her. im the animal saver in the family. i'mnot really afraid of anything except for cockroaches (sadly i live where they are quite abundant). my freind has 8 horses and she rides in the rodeo, her dad lets me fill in for her sometimes. but i pretty much like horses.
