It appears to be a bug of some kind. It's sort of a grey color, looks a little fuzzy and has A LOT of legs. They tend to be between 1"-2.5" long. I usually spot them in basements. I typically know about these things, but this is one I don't. They really creep me out.

I first thought it was a silverfish from descriptions I'd heard, but my boyfriend told me he didn't think it was.. A lot of different resonses. LOL. It doesn't fly, to answer the one person's question. At least, I hope it never does :o

Wow!!! It's a rare species of Analbug. Keep your holes corked and your cheeks tight. They do like to eat. Mmmm Boy! Although those little fuzzy hairs do tickle a bit, they sure can clean things out if you know what I'm saying. But sometimes they get a little carried away, so it's best not to tempt the little buggers. Give em a hair and they'll take the whole cheek If you know what I mean!! lol The best way to get rid of 'em is to keep a band-aid over any open holes in the household. They'll eventually give up and go away. LOL.

Actually I have no clue. It can't be a silverfish, because they aren't fuzzy AT ALL. It couldn't be a millipeded or centipede because they aren't grey. I saw something about a firebrat, which is kinda like a silverfish, but they like are fuzzy. But they are supposedly not that long and live in warm humid environments. Ugly pic attached. Maybe a moth larvae or something. Anyway send me a pic.

You are describing a centipede.

While they look creepy & scary, they are harmless.

Have a lovely rest of the day.
