I have a boy and girl dachshund. He doesn't hump her anymore and I squeeze her nipples and I see milk. Does this mean she is pregnant? How can I tell without going to a dr.?

My cats like to rub up and down on the walls whenever I call her. Her name is Angel and if I'm like "Come here Angel, come see mommy princess" she will rub all over the walls like crazy. If you just call her name she doesn't do it, but if you call her princess or baby or something then she will. Why?

When I walk him, I keep him in a tight rope, and make him walk by my side and I constantly talk to him, but he is so afraid. He was given to me about 3 months ago.

She recently, when taken out to relieve herself, does so while continuing to walk down the road. She doesn't go find her usual area in the grass for her BM, but just continues to walk along with my husband, and moves her bowels as she walks. It's as if she doesn't even realize she is doing so. The BMs are normal and she isn't acting ill. She is eating normally. What is up?

Princess is really sick. I dont know what to do. She keeps throwing up even when she doesnt eat anything. It is also really hard to get her to eat. She just lays around the house all day long as if she cant move. I would take her to the vet but I dont have the money.

Well, before i asked about how to get my mouse to not run from me, and you guys helped alot, but now i just want to know what kind of treats are best for you to give your mouse. like is there any vegetables that i shouldnt give him(he loves lettuce). Or is there anything else that i could give him that he would like or that is healthy for him(other than cheese or vegetables). I just wanna know so that i dont give him something bad, or miss something for him good.

He's such a good little pup otherwise. As soon as I walk in the door, he starts whizzing in his cage. Then at the bottom of the steps. Just a little bit though! Just enough to get my attention ;)

(And to get me really "pissed")

I need help fast. Please HELP

1) They eat 8 times a day and don't seem to gain weight
2) One has a "pot belly" appearance
3) One has sort of diarrhea, not entirely watery but not solid either
4) Both love to hang out under the house where mice usually are
5) They both lick their *** quite a bit
6) I saw a rice looking thing in one of the cat's poop

If they do have worms, what dewormer can I buy from Petsmart that would be effective for 7 week old kittens?

My dad found him in the grass 2 hours from my house. He brought it home to me so we could take care of it, obviously he is lost, his owner either let him go or accidently did.. I got him yesterday and he still hasn't sang or anything, i dont want him to be sad.. Any idea how i can put him in a better playful mood?

I have a three year old retarded and possibly autistic son that has recently benefitted from the companionship of a 7 month old weim/gshp cross. She protects him from hurting himself and has saved him fro injury many times now. Also, since knowing her, he has really shown massive improvement in learning and communication skills (he can't communicate at all, which she also helps us with;she will bark at us if he is upset about something until we fix the problem) and to lose her would be devastating to his progress. However, our lease for the next 6 months says we cannot have pets unless they are service animals. I am just wondering where to go and what to do to get this process started. I love my son dearly, and he really needs her. He has a tendency of running off on his own, and she stays with him and brings him back to us. This is all natural reactions to her, not trained. Please, if anybody can help....

she lays still for awhile, but then gets up and starts running around, then lays for awhile, has a small temp. we might have made a mistake in giving her a little soy milk yesterday. i am hoping that is not the reason, we have no longer given her anymore. it was a small amount.

My dog's nails growth is very fast, I have to cut them now & then. Sometimes I am afraid to cut his nails because he gets hurt. He is 15 yrs old & doesn't moves around much, like he used to do when he was young. I think thats the reason his nail growth is fast. If I don't trim nails then he cant walk properly & make lot of noise on tiled floor. Any suggestion how to cut nails in a safest way ?

Our family dog, Black Lab/Collie Mix, is 11yrs. old and in the past few weeks we definately have noticed many changes in him. When he was a puppy he jumped out of a truck going down the highway, so obviously his hips are giving out. But then we noticed that he has a terrible cough. It sounds like maybe he has something small (hopefully) lodged in his throat and just can't get it out. My mom, however, doesn't want to take him to the vet because then they'll want to do work on him ($) and we don't know how much longer he will live. I just don't want him to suffer, so if any of you have heard of (or have had experience with) this problem, please could you let me know what you did??
