That depends on your preference. You don't have to walk cats, but you do have to clean a litter box. You can leave cats alone for a few days as long as they have enough food and water. Dogs have a leader\follow relationship whereas cats are more of an as equals relationship. And by the way, my cat fetches. You just have to train them.

I prefer the dogs because they are many different race. They are most inteligent that the cats. They can save your life in a moment of emergency. They can learn various things. They can be to use combat the crime and detect drugs in airport, shopping center, house, cars and any place where do you go them. In fact, the Police Department use them. They have a very sensitive nose sense.They can be use to cacth a robber, sex attackers and criminals. When there are a person lost in the ice they can be to rescate by them. They animals very inteligent and they could be use in the medicine too.

I like both,,, more of a dog kind of a guy,,, but I have some wonderful cats ,,one in particular that the dogs... respect...LOL..

BOTH for me!!! i have 2 cats and one dog...
cats are easier and more tamed than dogs... better to have but ... still love dogs

I'd go with dogs. I don't have any luck with cats

it depends on what you like. if you like an animal that jumps up and down and fetchs things pick a dog but if you like a more lazier animal and a more pet like animal pick a cat.
I recommend not having both because you would have fights between each other.
