Well, before i asked about how to get my mouse to not run from me, and you guys helped alot, but now i just want to know what kind of treats are best for you to give your mouse. like is there any vegetables that i shouldnt give him(he loves lettuce). Or is there anything else that i could give him that he would like or that is healthy for him(other than cheese or vegetables). I just wanna know so that i dont give him something bad, or miss something for him good.

What kind of lettuce are you giving him? Do not give him iceburg, don't give him broccoli, or cauliflower. Other types of veggies are good. Don't give fruit everyday, 3-4 times a week, as a treat are good.

Peanut butter can cause them to choke..I would not give it to them. Do not give mice cheese! They are lactose intolerant.

Also, cat food is not good..especially the ones with artificial coloring. You can give them a lite dog food..such as nutro, as a treat.

You can go to your local pet stores and they'll have all the info you need. They'll also have the correct foods you can purchase to give to him. Most of them have pamphets for the animals they sell so you can get a head start on it's care and well being. Good luck with your mouse.

I give my mouse cat food as a treat. I don't think it's bad for him becuz I've read that it is OK to feed it to rats and cat food is pretty healthy. I've had him for over a year and I've given him a couple of pieces of cat food each day becuz he loves it so much and he seems as healthy as could be...

Don't feed your mouse cheese! Cheese actually is not good for mice.
Try feeding it peanut butter - my mice used to love that.
