My teacher (who has 7 dogs) was giving away one of her yorkie terriers to the shelter and asked if we want to keep it. My mom fell in love with it as soon as she saw it. We were so close in getting another dog but my mom changed her mind because she said that keeping an even number of dogs is "bad luck" which I don't believe. Why would the number of dogs shape her destiny?? The dog is going to the pet shelter on Monday. She is still having second choices but we can't decide whether to get the yorkie or not.

For now, I need them off of the whole yard, and completely forever out of the flower beds... I have a Boxer and a Whippit. Does anyone know if that "Stay off my yard" stuff works, or any other options.....? PLEASE HELP!?

Ive been leaving my front door open and my screen door closed at night to get a cool breeze flowing though my house anyways, my cat likes to sit in the chair and look outside. Evertime i try and go outside she trys and of course i dont let her because she has ran away before. after she walks away from the door she starts clawing the hell out of my furniture!!! why? is she mad?

I just caught a 5ft snake in my yard and chopped its head off with a machette. I think it came to eat my 2 month old kitten. Cause the last time I saw a snake that large in my yard was when my Chihuahua had puppies.

So should I be worried about my kitten roaming outside? He just loves to go outside to explore. I think if he sees a snake he may go over to try and play with it. So is he in danger and should I keep him inside all the time?

Thank goodness my Chihuahuas always alert me when they see snakes in the yard. This one may even have been the one that bit one of my Chihuahuas. If so, I'm so glad I got my revenge.

I've noticed dogs I've owned in the past sometimes roll around in the grass and I've noticed cats do the same. Usually they do it in stuff that smells good to them.

when i take my dog on a car ride, she gets long strings of drool from her mouth, but never has a drooling problem otherwise. one time she vomited, but that was a long time ago, she hasn't done it since. i tried to take her on more rides, to get her used to the idea of being in a car, but now she won't even go near the car. she is a german shepherd, and a large one at that. she is 27 inches to the shoulder. which makes her hard to lift into a vehicle. she has to weigh more than 100 pounds now. doesn't have a wieght problem. she has a pretty thick coat, and i live in Wyoming, could heat be the problem. the reason i am so concerned is because she has to go to the vet soon to get her anual vaccines, and it is kkind of a long drive what should i do, or is there anything i can do?

2 of the baby rabbits survived. One has a broken leg. What do we do?!!! THey are dehyrated and very young. Thier ears are still folded back but they have fur. THeir nest is destroyed and in a very bad place where several mpore accidents are likley to happen. WE've called every one but non of them were availible. What do we do? HELP!

Pit bull litter 2wks old and in the last two days 3 pups have died. Mom and pups aor outdoors in a storage house and mom brought the pups out in the sun yesterday and the 2 pups died. and this morning I found a pup under her dead. Should I step in and hand raise the pups or are these just coincidences and she is just learn and will get the hang of it.

My little orange cat is so distinctively marked with the lines on her face, white paws, etc. I've seen other cats that look just like her and am going to breed her with a tom that has the same markings. Is this a breed or only a common coloring pattern?
