If I had to choose between only those two, the cat would get it for no other reason than because it is a cat. As to dogs, I prefer my strawberry blond Shiba Inu.

i got a dog and a ginger cat and i love them both equally they both have different personalities my dog is hyper and wants to mother everything and my cat is really laid back at home but a steathy hunter outside
