I am getting some kind of water stain (looks white in color, as if it were soap) on my glass shower doors. I can't get it clean. So far I have tried "The Works'" which I know to be a very powerful cleaner, scrunge pads, pure soap, battery powered shower cleaners, and elbow grease. Any ideas as to what is causing the doors to stay dingy looking (they look clean when wet) and how to actually get them really clean?

I had a roommate who was given what I called a "clover plant" once. It looked like the clover you might see on your lawn, but the leaves were much bigger. (I don't remember if there were three or four leaves. Sorry.) The cool thing about this plant was that at night, it went to "sleep." The leaves would literally close together to form what looks like a flower bud. Then during the day, the leaves would open up again; it's like a flower blooming every day.

What is the real common name for what I called the "clover plant?" Is it easily found in stores? How expensive is it? Thanks for your help - it's going to make a great Christmas present!

My aunt has recently moved out of the state and is trying to sell her homes here. I was asked to help her water the plants at one of the houses so it would look presentable. Her instructions were to just go everyday to water the plants. Her "garden" consists mainly of greens and barely any flowers. Many of the flowers were dying when I got there, and even when I watered them, they still died. The live flowers are dying now as well. Some of the greens are fine while some are turning yellow. I don't know how much water to give the plants and how often.

Her instructions are the same regardless of season. It is now winter and I am so clueless as to how much water to give the plants, because my mom (which she has NO business of) keeps accusing me of not doing my job cuz the flowers died.

Can someone please help me? Thanks.

I want to buy an orchid and i was wondering about a few things.
- What climate do they grow best in?
- Do they need a lot of water?
- Should they be kept outside or inside?
- Do they need any special care like food and that type of thing?
- Where is the best place to buy them from and what price frame is there?
- Also are they poisionis to animals (especially cat)?
- Any other information would be greatly appreciated

What's the benefit of baseboards? Seems they exist to cover a sloppy flooring installation... And I REALLY don't understand why, say, a 5" baseboard is preferrable to a 3" baseboard. I always see that mentioned in real estate ads as a "plus".

I went to Menards and bought a remigton tube style that is 30,000 to 55,000 BTU's but they had a convections style that was 40,000 to 80,000 BTU that would heat 1900 sq ft and the Remington heated 1500 sq ft and my garages is 1550 sg ft. The tube style looks like it would heat up faster and last a little longer. It was $140, should I take it back and get the other one(convections style that looks like it has no fan) which throws heat 360 degrees instead of one way for $99? Thanks for any help.

My husband restores cars and what not right now he is working on a 1967 Ford Bronco he wants to put a lift on it so we will need a bigger garage where he can pull the bronco in and out of the garage with ease once the lift is put on it. Does anyone know if they sell kits to build a garage like they do some log cabin houses and what not. you know where you go into home depot or where ever and pick the garage you want and then they sell it to you as a kit and you can get it cheaper. If you know what i am talking about where can i go to get one of these and roughly how much do you think this would cost.
