I was working at a Haunted house this October and there was a light above me and another woman that worked there. I am not sure if it was a blacklight but when we looked at our rings, her's was glowing very brightly and mine did nothing at all. Does this mean that one of our diamonds was fake? I need an expert please

My electric bill is $650/mo with pool - EGAD! Even tho I run pool only 4-6 hrs a day. Would it be cheaper to run pool off a generator? What size generator do I need for 2 HP motor? Would a back-up generator be OK since it won't run 24/7??

1) The manual says that the use of cast iron cookware is "not recommended". It says not to use glass as it will scratch. It says porcelain-enamel cookeware "may" scratch the surface. All it says for cast-iron is not recommended. Do you use cast iron, does it scratch? My cast iron pans aren't completely smooth.

2) Do you use the conditioner on the surface after you clean every time? Sometimes? Never?

3) Any other hints? Stories? Experiences?

This was a Christmas gift which is why I am completely clueless. I only found out I was getting it two days ago!

i have 5*3 conservatory and there is a radiator on the wall (gas central heating)
I have heard that using this in a cold conservatory will 'drain' the heat from the other radiators and force the boiler to work harder.
Is this the most efficient way to heat conservatory or is it better/cheaper to use electric fan heaters or electric 'oil-filled' radiators.
Thanks for help!!

It is on a hardwood floor. It slides apart about 4 or 5 inches every time anyone sits/lies in the corner. We have tried putting that sticky padding that's sold for keeping rugs down under the feet, but that didn't work.

I have a plant that likes sunlight but I want to take it to my office at work. The only problem is that I don't have any windows at all in my office. I do have a "lamp" that I can set close to it with a "UV" protection glass over it (which can be removed). Is there any way to keep it alive without direct sunlight or should I just leave it at home where it can get some?
