Have you been watering it with rain water (or if not available, boiled water - to soften its hardness)? The chemicals in tap water can kill it. The mould sounds like it is getting too much water. Try placing the pot in a saucer of water so that it only takes the quantity of water it needs, rather than water overhead.
I have heard that they can die and regrow (if the traps are artificially closed - although yours haven't been) and the plant reacts to photosynthesis instead. My plant has done this, and from cutting back the black leaves I have managed to save it.
So you might want to trim off the dead parts and hopefully new shoots will grow back.

Several problems with what the lable says: 1 Warmth - they need the temperature to be colder in the winter idealy a frost but a cold window sill will work: 2 water - you need to water it with rain or filtered water as it does not like chorky limy water - also you need to leave the pot standing in water and does not like water on the soil - also if the "mold" is in the water then water it with filtered water. if it is moldy then it is probable that it is too dry - what it means by wet is socking

it doesn't like that much water .
unfortunately whats written on a tag , is an overview of the plant but not necessarily the conditions are conducive to where you live --- you need to get some local knowledge . good luck .

When mine did this I put it somewhere warmer, let it dry out a bit and cut off the dead bits. It sprang back to life in a few weeks.
