try sprinkling ground red pepper,(cayene) all around your garbage,once they get a sniff of red pepper they will not want your garbage anymore.It will stop them in their tracks.i tried it in my flower beds and it worked great.

while i don't advocate such practices, there are number of insensitive actions. some animals can't metabolize tylenol-like products. or anti-freeze for that matter. i see it as more cruel to allow an animal to live cold, hungry, and unloved.
